CURRICULUM:
New Life offers a complete pre-school curriculum. Reading and math readiness
(learning numbers, counting, classifying, name recognition; beginning identification of
the sight and sounds of alphabet letters; shapes and colors), science (animals,
insects, health, and nature), music, art, and social studies are presented in many
fun and exciting ways. Bible lessons, language development, group discussions, story-
telling, field trips; social skills, indoor and outdoor free play, cooking, and
educational games are all an integral part of the program. Our goals for your child
are for him/her to become an active and creative child, to become independent,
self confident, to develop his or her God-given potential and to love learning! Our
teachers will be guiding and enthusiastically directing their learning.
Children follow a flexible yet directed schedule that allows for a balance of group
and individual activities. Our daily schedule provides time for both quiet and active
experiences. We provide a daily healthy snack to each child preceded by a prayer
of thanks. Please notify us if your child is on a restricted diet or has any food
allergies.
Birthday parties are a fun way to celebrate at school. We welcome you to bring in
a special snack for your child’s birthday. We also celebrate special holidays and
ask for parents to contribute party snacks and supplies.
CALENDAR:
Our school calendar runs from September to June. We follow the Council Rock
School Calendar regarding holidays and school closings. In the event of inclement
weather, we use Council Rock’s decision for school closings, the snow number is 756.
